Since joining CASTO nearly six years ago, Alexis has played a key role in creating a welcoming environment for residents while supporting her team with leadership tactics and market insight.

Alexis brings a strong foundation in customer service and a deep commitment to her community. She has been instrumental in managing renovation efforts, fostering strong resident relationships, and staying ahead of local market trends to ensure her property remains competitive. Tell us about your background with CASTO. 

I have been with CASTO for nearly 6 years and have mainly focused on Chestnut Hill and The Ridge communities. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to build strong relationships with both residents and colleagues, which has made my experience incredibly rewarding. I have gained valuable insight into what it takes to maintain and improve thriving communities.

What do you like best about CASTO? What makes CASTO different? 

What I like most about CASTO is the integrity and values that we uphold. Our residents’ needs are always important to us and every member of our team from the leasing office to maintenance, to our corporate team. What sets CASTO apart is our ability to make our residents feel at home and our team truly feels like a family. This level of care and connection creates a welcoming environment not only for residents, but for employees as well. I’m proud to be part of a company that leads with empathy and operates with such strong principles.

What service or project have you liked working on the most while at CASTO? 

The project I have enjoyed working on the most would have to be the renovation project at Chestnut Hill! I was able to absorb so many new things, build lasting connections with our residents and take on different challenges consistently. Witnessing the transformation of the property and the positive impact it had on our residents was incredibly rewarding. Ultimately this project helped me grow in my role as an Assistant Manager and makes me excited for new projects!

Share a little bit about your expertise in the industry. 

My expertise in this industry is customer service and being able to provide leadership and aid to my team as well as evaluating the market correctly. It is super important to make sure we stand out against our competitors! Staying one step ahead requires not just awareness, but adaptability, and that’s something I take pride in bringing to the table. I strive to lead by example and ensure that both residents and team members feel supported.

What changes or trends do you see happening in your area of expertise? 

Some changes or trends that I can see happening is a ton of new developments being built especially in the New Albany Area. We see a ton of new housing, so this is why it is important to be knowledgeable on the market. Being aware of these developments allows us to adjust our strategies and stay competitive. It’s also a great opportunity to find new ways to showcase what makes our communities stand out.
