General Manager of Midtown Tampa Retail Operations Hired
Industry veteran responsible for day-to-day operations and retail relationships
Tampa, Fla. – Shopping center industry veteran Kathleen A. Hackshaw, CSM, has been hired as general manager of Midtown Tampa, which is scheduled to open in February.
CASTO Southeast, managing retail on behalf of the Midtown Tampa partnership with Bromley Companies, CASTO Southeast and JR Anderson, selected Hackshaw for the position.
“As general manager, Kathy will be the face of Midtown Tampa for our tenants and the community,” said Pat Westerhouse, vice-president of CASTO Southeast. “She’s a dynamic, experienced leader with a stellar background in the industry. We couldn’t be more excited to have Kathy on our team.”
Hackshaw, who is a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), will spearhead day-to-day operations of more than 200,000 square feet of retail including marketing, facilities, maintenance, security and parking. She will be responsible for all of the common and shared spaces throughout Midtown Tampa and for building strong tenant relationships.
Prior to joining Midtown Tampa, Hackshaw served as director of retail operations for Bloomfield Holdings, LLC, located in Jackson, Miss. She has also held executive positions at Chelsea Property Group, JTS Realty, O & S Holdings and Spa Sydell.
Hackshaw, who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University, brings more than 25 years of retail property management experience to Midtown Tampa.
