By Golly’s Bar & Grill Restaurant Coming Soon to Springfield

Springfield, OH – By Golly’s Restaurant is thrilled to announce its newest location, and expansion into the Springfield, OH market at 1720 N Bechtle Ave.

Originally started in Milford, OH in 1983, By Golly’s is a family friendly bar and grill, that is best known for its burgers, chicken wings, hand-cut waffle fries and festive environment. By Golly’s has a menu that blends classic American comfort food with modern flavors, and they look forward to expanding their presence outside of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

With an indoor capacity of 140 guests, plus an outdoor patio that can hold about 20 guests, By Golly’s looks forward to welcoming the Springfield community to the Bechtle location and becoming a go-to dining destination in the community.

“We look forward to opening our doors to the residents of Springfield, and delivering a quality operation, good food, and fun destination for the community to enjoy with friends and family,” said Heather Frye of By Golly’s.

By Golly’s is proud to offer a diverse menu with gluten-free options for customers, including a dedicated gluten-free fryer. The restaurant sources its gluten-free buns, pizza crusts, and hoagie rolls from local company Sunny Marie’s, demonstrating its commitment to supporting local businesses. In addition to gluten-free options, the menu features an array of mouthwatering burgers, hearty sandwiches, fresh salads, and signature appetizers. Guests can also enjoy house-made sauces, hand-cut fries, and a variety of craft beers and cocktails.

CASTO acquired the 2.56-acre property located at 1720 N Bechtle Ave in late 2024 and entered into a lease agreement for the 5,579 square foot building with By Golly’s a few months later. By Golly’s is currently under construction and is targeting a grand opening date in late April 2025.

“By Golly’s is a proven concept with a community-oriented approach. They have been great to work with on this project, and we are excited to welcome them as an outstanding new addition to the community of Springfield and the CASTO portfolio,” said Dan Leathery, Senior Manager of Development at CASTO.

By Golly’s recently hosted a hiring event on March 30th, which attracted over 100 applicants and attendees to their new location. This strong turnout highlights the excitement within the Springfield community for By Golly’s arrival and the enthusiasm for this beloved brand expanding into the market.
