CASTO Announces Groundbreaking Date for East Franklinton Project

Columbus, OH — CASTO, one of the country’s leading real estate organizations, announced today that it will host a ceremonial groundbreaking on April 3rd at 10 a.m. for its East Franklinton mixed-use project.

The project, which is in partnership with the Robert Weiler Company, Kelley Companies, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority and Smoot Construction, will be aptly named River & Rich.

“We’re excited to break ground on River & Rich, and to contribute to the vibrant community and growth of East Franklinton,” said Brent Sobczak, Director of Multifamily Development and Finance at CASTO.

Once completed, River & Rich will include 230 one and two-bedroom garden and townhouse style apartments, 25,000 square feet of retail space and a two-story 292-space parking garage. CASTO and its partners will also seek input from local artists and Franklinton stakeholders on building murals and public art installations.

River & Rich is set to open early Summer 2018.
