Earth Fare Now Open at Mills Crossing

The Fort Mill location is one of several Earth Fare stores to reopen under new ownership after the natural grocery chain filed for bankruptcy and closed early last year.

Earth Fare, an organic grocery store based in Asheville, NC, was purchased by Hulsing Enterprises and its president and CEO, David Hulsing, after filing for bankruptcy and closing all 55 locations in 2020. Hulsing is supported by investors and other Earth Fare team members in efforts to grow Southeast locations and revitalize the brand. New leadership includes original Earth Fare founder Randy Talley and former Earth Fare president Mike Cianciarulo.

After closing in February last year, Earth Fare reopened on January 13 at popular CASTO shopping center Mills Crossing. “We’re very pleased to welcome Earth Fare back to our center,” said Shannon Dixon, EVP of Southeast Development and Leasing for CASTO. “We’re so excited to start the year on a positive note and see how Mills Crossing continues to grow and serve the Fort Mill community!”
