Residential Photography Coordinator

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and manage creative content across multiple channels and platforms.
• Responsible for using various types of photography/videography equipment efficiently to capture the right photo style for the website, email, social media, and promotional materials.
• Provide creative direction for all shooting projects.

~Manage the production of product and Residential shoots, including securing resident-models and orchestrating shoot logistics.

• Choose equipment, props, settings, location, and lighting to achieve desired results.
• Collect, purchase, or arrange for rental, any props needed.
• Partner with Marketing and support teams to build and break down sets; create proper lighting and set designs for daily projects and shoots.

~Photo/Video Shoots can include:

• Lifestyle Photography and Videography : Responsible for capturing a vast range of lifestyle-type images and videos to highlight the resident experience and CASTO way of living.
• Product Photography and Videography : Responsible for capturing a vast range of apartment home styles and models
• Events / Corporate Photography and Videography : Responsible for capturing internal events, Residential events, PR events, team member awards and dinners, headshots, group photos, team engagement, etc.
• Customer Photography and Videography : Work closely with the Marketing team on PR projects and with testimonials
• Maintain and organize all studio lighting, camera equipment, props, and photo samples.
• Produce high quality images and videos, ensuring they are color consistent and correctly exposed.
• Maintain image library with standard naming conventions.
• Write, edit, and manage all digital content and social media strategies prior to implementation – including blog posts, website copy, etc.
• Shoot 360 tours.
• Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels.
• Ensure all content is executed as planned on calendar and well-optimized across relevant channels by tagging, linking, and performance tracking.
• Monitor social media trends and present new ideas to enhance the current content strategy to increase total followers and engagement; develop tracking, analytics, and reporting processes.
• Produce social media and promotional graphics that align with the overall content marketing strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Bachelor’s degree in video or film production, photography, visual communication, journalism, new media, fine arts, or equivalent work and/or academic experience.
• Expert knowledge of cameras, studio lighting, and other studio equipment.
• Portfolio that demonstrates deep knowledge of photography, videography and editing, specifically in Adobe Creative Suite of applications (Lightroom/Photoshop).
• Experience utilizing Canva and/or similar platforms to create social media and promotional graphics
• Highly proficient in social media content creation (including but not limited to TikTok and Instagram Reels).
• Strong time- and project management skills to juggle multiple deadlines and quick turnarounds with the flexibility to both self-manage and work as part of a team within a dynamic environment.
• A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative aesthetic.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to develop compelling, persuasive, and memorable content and communications.
• Ability to provide and utilize own photography preferred.
• Flexibility in variety of tasks, hours worked, occasional weekends and nights.
