CASTO Announces Construction Start on New Lucky’s Market

Columbus, OH —  CASTO, in collaboration with Lucky’s Market, is pleased to announce that construction has started on the new Lucky’s Market at the Thurber Village redevelopment with an expected opening in the summer of 2024. This store will be the latest addition to the locally owned Lucky’s Market stores in Cleveland and Columbus.

“At the new Lucky’s Market, customers can look forward to the freshest farmers market-style produce, natural and organic foods, and sweets from the bakery. It will also feature Lucky’s famous bacon and ground in house sausage, Boars Head products, hot made-to-order signature sandwiches, and fresh made in-house prepared foods from the kitchen. Lucky’s will also offer an extensive variety of healthy living products including vitamins, supplements, and body care.  The new location will feature an extensive amount of beer, wine, seltzer, and ready-to-drink can cocktail selections, with an emphasis on Ohio and Midwest favorites. Lucky’s loves local, customers can count on seeing local brands highlighted throughout the store. And shoppers will absolutely be able to find the grocery staples to round out a full shopping experience.”

Construction for the overall development commenced in October 2022. The project’s initial phases included demolition of the existing buildings and construction of the new, freestanding CVS location. The CVS building is nearing completion, with an anticipated opening later this summer.  This next phase of the commercial portion of the project will focus on the new ± 21,000 square foot Lucky’s Market at the corner of Collins Avenue and Neil Avenue.
